Saturday morning we were all fed and headed to the Alligator Farm by 9:45 AM. As soon as we entered we came upon an Albino Alligator...
Then we went over a small bridge to see the main "heart" of the farm...which is a LARGE circle/pit full of alligators and at various times throughout the day a trainer will go into the pit and feed the alligators or simply educate the audience while walking around inside with the gators. All around the pit are glass "walls" where the children can easily get a good view of what is going on down there! (there is a nice THICK wall of glass between that BIG gator and Evan on the top)
Also, around the park they have various statues and jungle themed decor...
Ashlyn Grace got tired of riding in her own stroller- so she decided to jump in with Braxton...He didn't seem to mind. BUT he kept pulling out CHUNKS of her hair (for fun) and she didn't seem to mind. She is so patient and tollerant of him.
Then we tried to get a Group Picture with the alligator...and that was challenging at best. I think this was one of 10 pictures that I took (trying to get one where, at least, everyone is looking at the camera). Give it up...
We stayed for about two hours (just long enough to check it all out and totally soak our bodies from head to toe with sweat)! Then we stopped for lunch at Honey Baked Ham Company and returned to Grandma's to conclude Dylan's 3rd Birthday Party with some cake and presents.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa - we had a great time.
