Go Flock, Go...You Can Do It!

This weekend was a beautiful weekend! The weather was cool: warm in the day time and cool again once the sun went down. If you're familiar with Gainesville, it was the kind of weekend where you want to wear light pants and long sleeves in the morning, change into shorts from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM and then back into the early morning outfit to end the day!

So yesterday, when Daddy and Evan returned from his final baseball game for this season- the Flock lined up their bikes (to air up their tires).

"Daddy, I think this front tire is a little low on air too!"

Braxton had been exploring the Tot Spot and was so excited to emerge and see everyone getting ready to roll! PURE EXCITEMENT

Braxton ran across the driveway and crawled through the front yard....

to get to his Sister. He wanted to push her, just as he watched Daddy do it. But Daddy made it look SO much easier!

He loved pushing her down the sidewalk...and soon enough she could peddle it all by herself. Yep- a first for AG caught on film.

There she goes on her own.

And another first...Colson was peddling his own bike without any pushes to keep going!! (I love that you can see Braxton chasing after Gracie Cakes up ahead- he SO wanted to push her the whole time...he wasn't pleased with her independence)

I don't have my own bike to ride, but I'm having a blast! (this might be one of those all-time-fav-pictures)

After Colson parked his bike, Braxton decided that he wanted a ride- and knew to get the helmet on first! (that's his sign for head- he hurts it a lot so we have a sign for it)

Last, but definitely not least, is champion rider Evan Fleming returning from the pond! It had been SO long since he'd been on his bike, Daddy had to help reacquaint him with balance....but you know what they say- once you learn how to ride your bike you never forget.
