Cornerstone Assembly- AG Character Award

This morning was the first Grammar Assembly where Ashlyn Grace was recognized for a Character Award. The sanctuary filled will grades 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st- last arrived K-5 and K-4. Here is Evan's class...patiently waiting. (Jayden is making sure his hair looks good for the picture)

K-4 is finally seated (Ashlyn Grace in the second row next to Mrs. Guerry) and ready to begin.

First Ashlyn Grace was recognized for participation in the Book Buddy program. Here she is with her 3rd Grade Book Buddy-Emily. Emily received a certificate and Gracie received a lolly-pop!

After all the Book Buddies were recognized, they returned to their seats and individuals were called up (if they were being recognized during that assembly) for Character Awards. Ashyln Grace was selected to receive an award for dependability. Here she is shaking Mrs. Muni's hand.

You can tell she's a little nervous! It's her first time on the big stage!

But she patiently stood and watched as other students were called on stage for their Character Award.
